WAEG Corporate Retreat
Challenge
WAEG (an IBM company) took senior leadership, consultants and IT engineers to Peniche for a weekend. The challenge was photographing hierarchies as they dissolve: a CEO in the water learning to surf is not photographed like a CEO on a stage.
Approach
We followed it as participants would — the surf lesson and the warm-up on the sand, the group photo with the boards held upright, the woodland clean-up — and then the terrace, where informal conversation, genuine laughter and a DJ at sunset did the rest. Along the way, candid portraits and the beaches of Peniche at dawn.
Result
A vivid selection for employer branding and internal communication, showing an authentic team culture — the kind of image that helps with recruitment and that a posed session cannot produce.
